BLACK MASS OF ABSU (USA/NY)

Black Metal band band from Buffalo started in 1995. Black Mass of Absu is headed by a mysterious figure named `Mr. Ski Mask.` He's somewhat known in the more obscure noisecore/industrial scene for his band Ostomy; he also has a metal project called `Towpath` and is somewhat well known in New York state for his public access program, Thunderbird Theatre. They have out at least 1 demo in 1995, and probably others, judging on a commentary in the cover of the '95 demo. They have also out two 7" in 1996 (split with Gonkulator) and 2000 ("Looting the Tomb of the Aramathean")

1995 DEMO

Xerox cover on red paper. The tape is a Sony 60mins with the band name written in red on both side. A Green version also exists. Was re-released in 2003.
